FeedRail Electro-Rail FRS-12 and ERS-12 3 pole, 5 amp Trolley Spare Spart

The Feedrail® Electro-Rail system is a heavy-duty industrial trolley busway used to provide continuous, mobile power to moving equipment like cranes, hoists, assembly lines, and high-intensity lighting.

The FRS-12 and ERS-12 are two of the most common configurations within the “100 Ampere” series. While they share the same foundational architecture, they are distinguished by their mounting styles and specific industrial applications.

FRS-12 vs. ERS-12: The Main Difference

The FRS-12 is the “standard” workhorse. It is typically mounted to beams or ceilings where the entire track is visible.

The ERS-12 (the “E” often signifying “Embedded” or “Extended flange”) features a specialized flange designed for flush-mounting. This makes it the go-to choice for clean-room environments or modern architectural lighting where you want the power source hidden within the ceiling line rather than hanging below it.
